Wi-Fi Sprinkler Controller Sharing
Share access to your Wi-Fi sprinkler controller before service so Shakopee Sprinklers can help with startups, repairs, backflow testing, and winterization.
Why share access?
It helps us service your system faster.
Controller access can help our office and technicians review zones, run stations when needed, confirm schedules, and prepare for seasonal sprinkler service without needing your app password.
For startups
We can help confirm zone names, test stations, and see basic controller status before or during service.
For repairs
Techs can run zones, locate issues faster, and avoid walking back and forth to the garage or controller.
For winterizing
Controller access can help with zone activation during blow outs and makes fall service easier to complete.
Preferred controller
Orbit B-hyve access instructions
B-hyve is our preferred smart sprinkler controller. Share access from the app instead of sending your username or password.
Orbit B-hyve - Preferred
- Open the B-hyve app.
- Tap My B-hyve or go to your device list.
- Select your sprinkler controller.
- Choose Device Sharing or Share Device.
- Invite chris@shakopeesprinklers.com.
- Choose Manager access if the app asks for a role.
- Send the invite.
Hunter Hydrawise
- Open the Hydrawise app or Hydrawise web account.
- Go to account, controller, users, privacy, or contractor settings.
- Look for Contractor Access, Users, or Roles.
- Add Shakopee Sprinklers as a contractor or user.
- Invite chris@shakopeesprinklers.com.
- Send the invite.
Rachio
- Open the Rachio app.
- Select your sprinkler controller.
- Tap Settings.
- Choose Shared Access or Share Access.
- Invite chris@shakopeesprinklers.com.
- Choose Complete Access, Full Access, or the highest access level available.
- Send the invite.
Other controllers
Have a different Wi-Fi controller?
Many Wi-Fi sprinkler controllers have a way to share access with a contractor, manager, admin, or additional user. The wording can vary by app.
- Look for Share Access, Users, Contractor Access, Manager, Admin, Full Access, or Invite User.
- Use chris@shakopeesprinklers.com for the invite.
- Do not send your password by text or email.
- Not sure what you have? Send us a photo of the controller.

Sharing access does not replace scheduling service. You still need to book your startup, backflow test, repair, or winterization appointment.
